From TNT

I need to comapre trees from different sources and the taxon labels must be identical. This requires that the 250 labels in my TNT tree be shortened to 10 characters. How to do this without editing one-by-one in a text editor?

(This question is likely better placed in the FAQ). Can you clarify? TNT now has a 31 or 32 character limit for taxon labels. You want to translate 10 character labels back to longer labels?
